What does attendance mean to you? Every student and family will have their own meaning for great attendance. For schools in St. Vrain, the goal is simple - have your student attend everyday and miss less than 10 days of school per year for any reason. The value of consistent attendance is one of the most important factors in determining if a student will do well in school, graduate and be prepared for success in future grades, their careers and postsecondary education.
Thursday, January 18th from 5:30-7:00PM. We will kick off the night in the gym with an update from the principal. Families will then participate together in activities set up by teachers all over the building. Please click here for more information.
We had a great turnout this morning and a ton of participants are hitting the 25 mile mark with a good number now hitting 50 miles! Thank you always to our volunteer crew that help hand out runner bar codes, run the scanners, and update our 100 mile club charts in the cafeteria.
Another big thank you to Brown's Shoe Fit on Main Street for donating the shoe laces as an added incentive for kids that hit 50 miles!
Believe it or not, we are ready to take registrations for our Camp Invention program coming up in June of 2018! Next summer, camp will be at Longmont Estates from June 25th-29th. I will serve as camp director for the 3rd year, and look forward to having teachers from Longmont Estates as our instructors. This year, Camp Invention is offering a payment option if you register before March, as well as a discount. Flyers will be sent home in Thursday folders throughout the year, but please don’t hesitate to contact me with any questions at any time.
