Michelle Cain-Preschool Paraprofessional: This is my 21st year in Colorado after moving from Illinois. While living in Boulder, Denver and eventually settling in Longmont with my husband Matt, I’ve had the opportunity to be a classroom and literacy teacher for kindergarten, 3rd, and 4th graders. My son Silas(13) and daughter Maya(10) are continuing on at Westview and LEE while I’m looking forward to another wonderful year with Stacey and Kathy in preschool.

Christy Dreiman- Resource Teacher: Hello Longmont Estates Community! Some of you may recognize me as I’m a mom to a fellow Eagle, but I’ve also previously worked at LEE for 3 years taking last year to gain experience as the early childhood special education teacher at Mead Elementary. I am so excited to be back at Longmont Estates this year and reconnect with the special education team as the new K-5 Resource teacher and work to build connections with all of LEE’s amazing kids! When I’m not at work, I love spending time doing all things baseball with my two boys, Mac (13 years) and Maddox (5 years). I also stay busy enjoying nature and being active with family and friends. I don’t sit still well and that is, of course, why I love teaching! Here’s to an amazing year together!

Heather Conkright- Kitchen Manager: Greetings, Eagles! My name is Heather Conkright and I am the new Kitchen Manager at Longmont Estates Elementary. I thought I would share a little about myself to kickstart the 2021-2022 school year. I have lived in Longmont for 24 years, and have two girls with my husband, Jon. I graduated from the University of Northern Colorado with a Bachelor of Science in Exercise Physiology. I began my working career helping people feel better with exercise and proper nutrition in the Cardiopulmonary Rehabilitation unit at Longmont United Hospital. I loved this job, but always felt like I had another calling. After nearly 10 years working at the hospital, I made the terrifying decision to leave and started my own food business. For the next 6 years, I followed my passion for cooking and being creative, working for myself as a personal chef, food truck operator, cake lady, and healthy meal caterer. Then COVID-19 arrived, and I had to make the tough decision to close down my food businesses to be there for my family through virtual learning, hybrid learning, no school days, quarantines, etc. That fall, I started looking for work again and heard that the school district was in need of help. Fast forward to today, and I am excitedly preparing to open Longmont Estate’s kitchen for the first time as Manager. I am committed to fueling success by serving fresh, well-prepared, and balanced meals to our students. I love teaching others about various cooking techniques and getting creative with common foods. I am Food Protection Manager Certified, and Food Allergens Certified. And, most importantly, I am so proud to be serving YOU this year and excited to get to know all of the wonderful students, parents, and staff, at Longmont Estates.

Erin Wise- Counselor: I am so excited to be a part of the Longmont Estates Team! I am the proud Mom of three amazing daughters (ages 10, 7, and 2)! My husband teaches Art at Alpine Elementary here in Longmont. We love to spend time together in the beautiful Colorado sunshine. I am originally from New York and moved to Colorado in 2010. I got my undergraduate degree at Ithaca College in Upstate NY and my graduate degree in Social Work from Boston College. I am a licensed clinical social worker and have been working in the field for 15 years. I have worked with families and children as well as older adults. I am a new school counselor/interventionist, and feel so fortunate to be joining the LEES community!
