Exciting News for 2025–2026!

Starting in the 2025–2026 school year, all St. Vrain Valley Schools preschool programs, including Longmont Estates, will be offered five days a week! This district-wide shift gives families more consistency and more time for children to grow and thrive in a positive, supportive environment.

What We Offer at Longmont Estates:

Schedule Options:

  • Full-Day Preschool: 8:20 a.m. – 3:00 p.m.
  • Half Day AM: 8:20 a.m. – 11:00 a.m.
  • Half Day PM: 12:20 p.m. – 3:00 p.m.

Enrollment Information

Are you ready to register your 3- or 4-year-old for Preschool at Longmont Estates Elementary? Here’s how the process works:


Step 1: Complete the District Preschool Application
Families will begin by submitting the Preschool Application through the St. Vrain Valley School District. This is the first step for both 3- and 4-year-olds.


Step 2: Complete the Colorado Universal Preschool (UPK) Application
UPK (Universal Preschool) is only available for children who are 4 years old. As part of the district’s preschool application, families of 4-year-olds will be prompted to complete the UPK section to determine eligibility for state-funded tuition support.


Step 3: Select Longmont Estates Elementary
Be sure to list Longmont Estates Elementary as your preferred preschool location when completing your application.


Step 4: Confirmation and Next Steps
Once your application is submitted, a member of our team will reach out to confirm placement and guide you through the remaining steps in the enrollment process.

Tuition & Funding

  • Universal Preschool (UPK) funding is available for many families with children who are 4 years old. UPK is a state-funded program that helps cover the cost of preschool and is only available to eligible 4-year-olds.
  • Full-Day Tuition and limited scholarships are also available for those not eligible for UPK.
